Ken Weil is a native of Alabama and a 1980 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law.  He has been a Seattle-area resident since 1983.  He has been in solo practice since January 1995.  In 1997, he served as a member of the Tax Advisory Committee to the National Bankruptcy Review Commission.  He was a founding member and is a Past Chair and long time Vice-Chair of the ABA Tax Section Committee on Bankruptcy and Workouts.  As part of his committee work, he writes the annual update on new developments in tax and bankruptcy.  He has also been a volunteer at the King County Bar Association's debt clinic since 1995.  Ken is married to CPA Pamela K.
